Grandpa's sleeper "1990 740 tic"

so my head gasket finally decided it had enough boost to pop. so I did the head gasket and it went fairly smoothly. and after driving it around I can say it's been leaking for a while I was losing small amounts of coolant I figured it was the head gasket since there were no leaks but no water in oil etc so I figured it would go one day. now it's not losing water at all. luckily I didn't drive it pretty much at all until it was fixed but in the process of moving it into a garage at my friend's place to do the gasket when I went to move it on starting it cranked once and said nope hydrauliced luckily it was only on start so it never ran no rods bent etc.

I just today did a full brake rotor and pads on it and forgot II had the 93 940 struts on the front so I got the wrong size disc thank fully ipd said no big deal just bring them in we will swap them with the bigger ones. I have to say I have always been impressed with IPD customer service I was the one at fault for buying the wrong ones, I called and said I have part numbers for you and will be will calling the order today. They swapped them any way they didn't have to do that but they did. I didn't even have to ask they offered. yes, they are more expensive than most places but IMHO their customer service makes it worth the extra cost. 100% of 100%.

I bought another aw71L from a fellow tbricker and did the accumulator mod to it before it goes into my car instead of like the last one. right after I did the mod to it I got sick and am finally after 2 weeks feeling good again. not covid just a nasty cold I can't even remember the last time I was sick it's been years. so I will hopefully have it installed soon I really miss that lock-out on highway drives.

I don't know if anyone else has had issues with the rear trailing arm front bushing going south in like 2 months I am going to have to replace the driver's side for the 3rd time. going to buy Volvo part this time. just really surprising it's only the driver's side going bad so fast nothing else is worn out or loose etc. I guess it's just my luck with aftermarket parts. and one of these days I'll actually install the aw71L I haven't had any kinds of major problems with this thing for a while now it's great the only change in driving is I mainly drive highway miles like 4hrs one-way to work all highway I cant see that that would cause the bushing to wear out faster.
