Here is what Clutch masters has to say about ceramic clutches and more
https://clutchmasters.com/ft-2434-faq.html
What is the life expectancy of a Clutch Masters clutch kit?
Organic, Kevlar, and Formula Button Clutch kits are expected, and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however...
certainly possible, to be honest I'm not entirely sure what the set up was I just know it had a ceramic clutch, but that being said idk if its a set up issue or what but I've seen others have similar issues. And anyways it still doesn't resolve the issue of needing to replace the flywheel every...
Don't get me wrong they do work and it is probably the cheapest way to have a clutch that works, I should say I have never owned one, however I have driven a few and a friend of mine had one. He had to replace his clutch every 25,000 miles not sure about the flywheel but I know you have to start...
Whelp it was indeed too small ended up getting a custom piece made to work with the sr20det release bearing. Also the lip of the pressure plate is slightly to big for the bellhousing so machined it down a few mm and it fits in there now. but this is what you will need if you want a 240mm clutch.
If you do nothing else you really should buy the crank pully with a proper keyway from yoshifab or whoever has it, the stock ones are flimsy and are know for breaking when you add an extra cam. The b234f manifold fits in a 240 but the brake booster is in the way if you want anything going to...
Hey everyone I am getting my flat flywheel redrilled for a SR20DET pressure plate. I wanted know if anyone knows the OD of p1800 release bearing looks like this

I was wrong but, ehhhh its not really 3 out of 4 brakes, your getting half the caliper working so its flexing it and still not going to be braking properly, not to mention your gonna be diving to the right or left under braking ask me how I know . I'm not sure if everyone else does it...
The sensor delete brake junction block even if you can get it is still not Ideal if your brakes fail you will have only half your brakes diagonally, as opposed to just the front or rear. like most cars. I replaced my octopus block as well before and it leaked internally pretty much immediately...
I did this exactly this with a sine plate, but just note that the mahle pistons that ipd sells are shorter than the b234f pistons, so you will need so shorten the skirts on a lathe if you want to get it to be exactly the same. I'd cut them a little deeper so you can run a cam with more lift if...
This is ideal but not everyone has access to a dyno even if you do, its best to get your car running as good as you can so you don't waste$$
I agree idk why the aftermarket community is so set on knock detection some setups costing 1000$+. I wish tuning spark with a pressure sensor was more...
this is how I've been doing it with datalogging, power numbers I doubt are correct but whats important is you can see a change in power and adjust accordingly https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=virtual+dyno
