![]() Is it possible to use the York compressor with the 91-92 AC system? I know it is not the most efficient compressor, but I am just trying to improve my girlfriend's AC, without needing to change the compressor, while I gather the parts to do the power steering rack and pump.

![]() Did you know that the expansion valve is adjustable? Turn the Allen plug all the way in back out 2 turns. Clean all of the bugs/road trash on the condenser.

![]() Expansion valve and envirosafe refrigerant aren't very friendly. I would like the oriface tube and larger evaporator to improve the AC performance.

![]() Also the heater valve might not be completely shutting off. The Phillips head screw can adjust it..

![]() No you cannot use the York compressor in that setup. There wouldn't be any way to adjust the belt tension. A rebuilt rotary compressor isn't that expensive. https://www.ebay.com/itm/40363814790...MAAOSwfgZicauU
That listing claims to come with the other stuff needed to work on the system.
