K-Jet is awesome! 197hp @ 16psi on what looks like an original B21FTi.

You just need to breathe hard on your MBC or disti, or hose down the intercooler, and you'll break 200. Very nice :cool:

What's the scale on the black AFR line (it's chopped off of the picture), or what is it from 3K to 6K rpm?

What are the specs on the car?

Car left Sweden as a 245 diesel and has spent its life here in California. Some one has swapped in b21ft engine at some point.
If the odometer is original, the car 426k miles on it.
All I?ve done to it is baseline it: changed all fluids, filters, tune up, and added the yoshifab wow kit and the a intercooler.

Next is to swap all the ipd suspension parts from my crashed 85 245 and install this engine:



I?m deciding on exhaust manifold and turbo for the 16v, and will convert it lh2.4 or Link.
 
What is a yoshifab wow kit? The group A intercooler?

Are you using the terminal 11 trick? 16psi seems like it would need more fuel than just stock boost enrichment.

That next level engine is going to be breaking the Volvo trans. The one you have in there now may even break it. lol.

?Wow? kit should?ve been ?aos? kit; his crankcase breather kit.
Not familiar with terminal 11 mod, but I?ll search for it.
It is on the lean side, I just wanted to see where it was running.
I have WC T5 I can use on the 16v engine, but might skip it and go straight to a T56 or CD.
 
yes, that is the boost enrichment switch. It grounds terminal 7 in the lambda computer at about 2.9psi. An 82 won't have any wiring for terminal 11 so you'll have to get a contact and short pigtail of wire from another car. The contact is the same as on the newer efi injected cars so you just need to get the piece of wire with the ternimal on the end.
 
OK. In 84 and 85 the cold enrichment circuit was changed to a pressure switch wired to terminal 11. So if your firewall has a gold round pressure switch then terminal 11 should be wired. If it doesn't and you have the control pressure regulator with the vacuum hoses on the bottom section. Then it probably isn't wired up.
