My fav car was the orange D24 245. The D24 is a more powerful engine than people give it credit for.

Other fav was the guy with a red 745t that goes to the strip with 442k miles, and has never had the head off his engine. AMAZING.

Yeah, 442k on a hard driven car is crazy. He was a nice guy too. Loved the abundance of bailing wire holding everything in under the hood!!! That looked like something I'd do!

what is that orange car? British something?
/edit: looks like it might say Fiat or Saab on the grill?

It's a Saab, probably a Sonnet. This was an "all swedish" meet, so Saabs and Volvos were there.

According to the owner(Kevin, aka Slobodan), it's baby sh!t yellow, lol. It definitely had some good scoot to it in his car, but it smoked so much when he was cruising with us that we let him speed off.

Simon's 745t is definitely an odd one. He hasn't owned it for toooo long(well, probably over a year), but yeah. He's definitely been beating on it ever since.

Here's OVT's gallery on the event. There're more pictures to be uploaded in there by others soon.

Good time!

Saab Sonett
thats a neat looking car, looks like it suffered the same fate as many cool looking euro 70s cars:
"Ford V4 engine as before, with 1500 cc in 1970 and from the fall of 1970 (model year 1971) with a 1700 cc in later versions in order to handle the new US emissions controls. Both engine types gave 65 hp (48 kW). The Sonett III made 0-100 km/h in 13 s and due to a 'longer' differential gear ratio, had a top speed of 165 km/h (103 mph)"

Yeah, that 122 belongs to my buddy Alan Petersen. It's his rally car...

That car was probably my favorite out of all the cars there. It had the best "spirit". I know that sounds a little hippy, but I just think a car that is really USED is so much cooler than a garage queen. Even if it does have bumps and bruises.

Pretty cars can be used too  Maybe not all of the OVT cars were pretty, but we sure...uhh...used them on the way back. :oogle:

Me and B-Dub went to the races afterwards and this was my favorite car. A Civic Wagovan that ran a 10.6 1/4 with a ridiculous 0.06 reaction time. He blew up at the end of the run, but it was awesome!

Annnnnd a cool rolling shot of B-Dub's wagon on the way to XXX.
